The ITS Tech&Food Academy Foundation is a center of excellence in the agro-food sector, born in the heart of the Food Valley thanks to the partnership between companies in the sector, institutions, schools, universities, training, and research bodies in the region. It is a “key player” in the regional and national system of higher professional training, as defined by Law no. 99 of July 15, 2022.
It provides specialized training for technicians with high-level technological and technical-professional skills, with the aim of:
Contributing to supporting measures for economic development and the competitiveness of the production system, gradually bridging the gap between supply and demand for labor
Ensuring a continuous supply of higher-level technicians at the post-secondary level in relation to technological areas considered strategic in the context of industrial and technological development policies and ecological transition.
It provides free two-year courses in Parma, Reggio Emilia, Bologna, and Cesena to train highly specialized technicians with immediate job prospects in the strategic sectors of the local production fabric.
It trains the new professionals of today’s and tomorrow’s Agro-Food Industry.
It offers post-diploma specialization courses and awards a Specialization Diploma in Applied Technologies, recognized throughout Europe.

It addresses the scientific, technological, and organizational innovation needs of companies, contributing to the economic development of the region.
